Documentation and paperwork relating to the shipment of Export and Import cargo, as per the existing policies, rules and regulations of Indian Customs.

Pre-Shipment and Post-Shipment Follow-up:
Preparation and follow-up of the documents relating to Shipping Lines, Custom House Agents (CHA), and the Customs authorities. Monitoring arrival, departure and cut-off dates of vessels with export cargo stuffing at manufacturer’s warehouse and merchant exporter’s warehouse.

Sourcing:
Sourcing of manufacturers in the food processing industries.

Order Execution:
Total execution of the export order, including collection of export incentives and foreign exchange realisation.

Liaisoning:
Liaisoning with government departments and government officials on matters relating to export and import.

Bank Negotiations:
Dealing with banks for the negotiation of export/import documents.

Management Audit:
Conducting Management Audits for small-scale units, based on standard accounting systems.

Monitoring:
Monitoring the total Management Information Systems.

Information Management:
Providing information on shipping lines and co-ordination with the CHA for export/import shipments.

Preparation For Overseas Procedural Requirements:
Preparation, filing and monitoring of applications for Advance Licenses under various schemes, viz. DEPB, DEEC, EPCG, SIL, etc., and other procedural requirements such as IEC Registration, Revalidation/Extension/Bond Waiver, etc. with the DGFT, Ministry of Industries & Commerce and Indian Customs & Revenue Department.

Registration with Central Excise Department for availing benefits under Modvat facilities and other rules under Central Excise Act. Filing applications for refund, execution of Bonds, certificates, Block Transfers, Waivers, etc., and providing guidelines on Central Excise procedures and record maintenance.

Registration with Indian Customs for export/import trade and EDI registration. Clearance of export/import cargo from Mumbai Port Trust, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust and ICD Dashrath.

Registration with state government authorities such as Sales Tax, Profession Tax, Octroi, local health authorities, Public Health Laboratory, Municipal Corporation, etc.

Tie-Ups:
Product sourcing, building bridges between suppliers and buyers, co-ordination for Joint Ventures (JV), providing Data Bases for such purposes and arranging for market-research data on processed foods. Monitoring and providing guidelines on quality control and organoleptic testing. Providing product sourcing facility through Internet, assisting in packing and label designing and labelling requirements as per Indian bye-laws and consumer choice.
